Dual-Sided PET Aerogel Insulation Film (AGF-APA)<\/strong> features a sandwich composite structure of \u201caerogel coating + PET film + aerogel coating.\u201d It is available in standard thicknesses from 70 to 250 microns, with a central PET layer of 16 microns. The dual-sided aerogel design delivers low thermal conductivity of 0.022\u20130.026 W\/(m\u00b7K), effectively blocking heat transfer from both directions. This makes it ideal for electronics requiring double-sided insulation, such as smartphones, tablets, and LED lighting enclosures.<\/p>

The PET core provides lightweight support and enhances tensile strength, maintaining structural stability under bending and folding conditions.       Anchor Aerogel produces AGF-APA by precision-coating aerogel onto both faces of a 16 \u03bcm PET core on its own coating lines, controlling bond quality so the surfaces stay smooth and powder-free. We support overseas electronics buyers from gauge selection and drawing review through sampling and repeat production, with standard gauges at 70, 140, 200, and 250 \u03bcm and custom thicknesses available within 50-300 \u03bcm. Roll or die-cut samples can be prepared for line evaluation, and shipments use export packaging. Current technical documentation, including the TDS, is available on request to support your qualification and incoming inspection procedures.<\/p>

      Engineering Boundaries & Custom Options<\/h3>

      AGF-APA is the bidirectional-insulation option: both faces are aerogel-coated, so it suits layers exposed to heat from either side, but neither face has the scratch protection a PET cover would give - plan handling and enclosure contact accordingly. Standard construction carries no adhesive or liner, so fixing is the assembler's responsibility. The quoted thermal conductivity applies to the aerogel layers; compute stack resistance from total thickness. Continuous operating range is -20 to 120\u00b0C, and no UL94 rating is published.
