Product Description<\/b><\/h2>

The Reinforced Fiberglass Aerogel Blanket (AG90 Plus) is a high-performance thermal insulation composite material reinforced with High-performance Glass Fiber Mat, combined with silica aerogel and an added light-blocking agent. It is manufactured through advanced processes such as sol-gel technology and supercritical drying.<\/p>

The product features excellent thermal insulation performance, superior hydrophobicity, Class A fire rating, non-toxicity, environmental friendliness, and long service life. Working Principle<\/b><\/h2>

Silica aerogel features a continuous, irregular nanoporous network structure, with both colloidal particles and pores at the nanometer scale. The colloidal particles are interconnected by Si\u2013O\u2013Si chemical bonds, forming a three-dimensional network skeleton, while the pores are filled with gaseous dispersing media.<\/p>

This nanostructure\u2014comprising nanopores and nanocolloidal particles\u2014produces multiple thermal resistance effects, including the multi-barrier effect, nano-skeleton heat resistance effect, and near-zero convection effect, effectively blocking and impeding heat transfer.<\/p>

By incorporating inorganic High-performance Glass Fiber Mat into the aerogel, the mechanical strength and processability of the material are enhanced, resulting in a composite with both extremely low thermal conductivity and sufficient mechanical strength. Additionally, the introduction of a light-blocking agent takes advantage of its strong radiation scattering and absorption properties, effectively suppressing high-temperature radiative heat transfer and significantly improving the high-temperature thermal insulation performance of the aerogel composite.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Product Features<\/b><\/h2>

1.Lightweight:<\/b><\/p>

Aerogel has a nanoporous structure with extremely high porosity (up to over 99%), resulting in a composite material with very low density.<\/p>

2.High Temperature Resistance:<\/b><\/p>

The material is reinforced with ceramic fiber\u2013enhanced silica aerogel, with a maximum service temperature of up to 900\u00b0C.<\/p>

3.Low Thermal Conductivity:<\/b><\/p>

The nanoporous network structure, combined with the addition of a light-blocking agent, reduces high-temperature thermal conductivity. Compared with similar products without the additive, thermal insulation performance is improved by approximately 25%, with even greater advantages at elevated temperatures.<\/p>

4.Super Hydrophobicity:<\/b><\/p>

The material exhibits excellent water repellency, preventing moisture ingress and insulation failure, thereby extending service life.<\/p>

5.Flame Retardancy:<\/b><\/p>

As an inorganic material with low organic content, it is inherently non-combustible. The product achieves Class A fire rating, offering excellent flame-retardant performance.<\/p>

6.Long Service Life, Environmentally Friendly and Non-Toxic:<\/b><\/p>

Composed mainly of inorganic materials, it can withstand most acidic and alkaline environments over long periods. Anchor Aerogel manufactures AG90 Plus in-house using sol-gel synthesis and supercritical drying, the same process route applied across our high-temperature blanket line. We routinely support EPC contractors and equipment OEMs with project-scale orders: material samples for qualification testing, cut-to-size pieces against supplied drawings, and technical review of pipe, tank, and enclosure insulation layouts. Where a project specification references particular GB\/T test methods, our team can align the delivered documentation accordingly. Values not shown on this page, such as dimensional tolerances or roll lengths, are confirmed in the current TDS before order acceptance.<\/p>

Engineering Boundaries & Custom Options<\/h3>

AG90 Plus is offered in standard 3\/6\/10 mm thicknesses at 1500 mm width, with both dimensions customizable for project requirements. Its performance boundary is defined by the 900\u00b0C maximum service temperature and the conductivity values measured at 25\/300\/500\u00b0C; designs outside these published points require engineering review. The material is hydrophobic and Class A2 rated, but it is not a structural layer and must not be used as load-bearing insulation.
