Product Description

The AGF-AAL aerogel film features a 20–50 μm thick aluminum foil substrate composite with an aerogel coating, available in thicknesses of 100–300 μm. Combining lightweight and corrosion-resistant properties, the aluminum foil has a density of only 2.7 g/cm³—one-third the weight of copper foil—yet offers tensile strength ≥100 MPa, ideal for weight-sensitive applications. Its thermal conductivity is as low as 0.022–0.026 W/(m·K), ensuring excellent insulation performance.

Compared to PET substrates, aluminum foil provides superior tensile and puncture resistance, creating a dual barrier with the aerogel layer for enhanced thermal protection. The film can be directly adhered to components using pressure-sensitive adhesive. The strong bond between aerogel coating and aluminum foil eliminates powder shedding even under vibration, making it the preferred insulation solution for electronic devices and 3C electronics.
