Aerogel Coating

Anchor-Tech Aerogel Coatings & Raw Materials – Advanced Thermal Insulation & Fire Protection Solutions.

Anchor-Tech offers a comprehensive range of aerogel products, including high-performance aerogel coatings an draw materials designed for industrial insulation, building thermal protection, and fire resistance. Our aerogel coatings feature exceptional thermal insulation, fire resistance, and high-temperature durability, making them ideal for pipelines, storage tanks, kilns, building walls, fire doors, and more.

Aerogel Coatings

AG-IP is an industrial-grade aerogel thermal insulation coating available in12 temperature grades, covering a range from100°C to 1200°C. It is widely used for pipe, tank, and furnace insulation, with an ultra-low thermal conductivity of0.04 W/(m·K). Unlike traditional coatings, AG-IP requires no primer and can be applied directly to metal and other substrates, significantly improving energy efficiency.

AG-FPC is a fireproof aerogel coating with six different fire resistance grades, ranging from1000°C to 1500°C. Upon exposure to fire, it expands to form a protective layer, effectively safe guarding equipment and buildings against fire hazards. It is commonly used for fire doors, fire-resistant walls, and high-temperature protection.

AG12CB is abuilding-grade aerogel insulation coating developed for thermal protection in construction. It is environmentally friendly and can be applied with a primer to both interior and exterior walls. A2mm layer provides the same insulation as a traditional 20mm material, ensuring superior performance even at temperatures as low as -25°C. This makes it an ideal choice for energy-efficient and green building projects.

Aerogel Coating Raw Materials

AG-DP is a dispersed aerogel paste designed to solve the issue of aerogel powder being insoluble in water. As a key ingredient in insulation coatings, thermal mortars, and gypsum boards, AG-DP significantly enhances product performance, ensuring a more uniform and stable application.

Aerogel Particles are crushed pure aerogel granules with no fixed shape or size. They are primarily used for insulation in irregular or enclosed spaces and serve as a raw material for aerogel powder production.

Aerogel Powder is an ultrafine aerogel material available in5-micron and 20-micron sizes. It is widely used as a key ingredient in aerogel coatings and can be incorporated into other insulation materials to enhance thermal efficiency.

How to Choose an Aerogel Coating or Raw Material

Aerogel coatings and raw materials serve different project stages. Ready-to-apply coatings are used for thermal insulation, surface protection, and complex geometries where wrapping is difficult. Powders, particles, pastes, and dispersed products are intended for manufacturers developing their own coatings, composites, or insulation systems.

For coating projects, confirm substrate preparation, recommended dry film thickness, application method, curing conditions, and compatibility with primers or topcoats. For raw materials, confirm solids content, particle size, dispersion medium, storage conditions, and formulation guidance. These details determine performance more than the generic term “aerogel coating”.

RFQ checklist for coatings and raw materials

  • Substrate type, surface condition, operating temperature, and indoor/outdoor exposure
  • Target function: insulation, fire protection, reflection, antibacterial, or formulation use
  • Application method, available thickness, curing conditions, and project area
  • Required documents, sample quantity, packaging, shelf life, and destination

FAQ

Choose a finished coating for direct application. Choose powder, particle, paste, or dispersed paste if you are formulating your own product.

Substrate preparation, film thickness, curing, primer/topcoat compatibility, and the actual exposure environment are critical. Confirm the application guide and TDS before use.

Yes. Share the substrate, application method, target function, and project location so a suitable sample can be recommended.
